Hi.
Has anyone else had this problem, as your assistance will be greatly appreciated?
I can successfully connect a Windows XP VPN clinet to a Watchguard 1000 Firewall. I have created a rule that allows PPTP users all services in and out, but when the PPTP user connects, they can only successfully ping a Domain Controller but nothing else (like a mail server). All servers are given the firewall as their default gateway.
The PPTP user is given the same IP subnet address as the servers, but I fear I am just missing something obvious. A tracert command shows ping connections die just after the trusted interface, except for the Domain Controller that I can ping, which returns a successful trace. However I can ping the connected PPTP user from any server.
Any ideas, please?
Thanks in advance.
