Cannot perform a Backup

I got that message:

The operation was not performed becasue no unused media was available.

I got on MS website, found a document on it:

But even with that document, I have never been able to make a scheduled backup working. Though, if I run it manually (directly from the ntbackup window), it starts. I can use Veritas Backup too manually, but it doesnt work once scheduled.

Check your media overwrite settings in Veritas and NTBackup.

I had a similar problem and found that if you are using a pool with the switch /p you can use the switch /um which will allow the drive to use whatever tape is in the drive whether it has been previously used or not.
