Cannot page from attendant console

I am working on an option 61, They had a trunk card go bad the other day so I had to move the page trunk to another card. There are 2 problems,

1: the Attendant phone (2250) cannot page. All other phones can. (This is a valcom page unit) She dials 60 to get the page system dial tone but when she dials the 3rd digit for the page zone it does not go through.

2:From any phone they used to be able to dial the 2 digit trunk access code and zone just as fast as they wanted, but now they have to wait a couple of seconds after dialing the trunk access code before they dial the zone, otherwise it will not go through.

Delmar,
Have your operators try dialing 60, TONE, then the zone number. On the M2250 the TONE key should be programmed to provide End to End Signal (EES). Without this the console doesn't generate a signal the Valcom can recognize.

Charlie, I have not tried that But i will now to get them going, But the thing is, is that she would dial 82 (I mistyped it as 60 above) and the zone number and that was all she would have to dial before I changed to the trunk card. They want to go back to this old way of doing things.

I'm obviously missing something simple. We had a request to enable overdial on the front desk consoles (2250s). CDB has EEST set to yes, and we assigned key 03 to EES. After pressing the 'tone' key and dialing the first two digits a busy tone is generated in the op headset. What am I missing?

what happens if you just pick up a loop key and dial 60..? and you can add a page key if the trunks are built as page,,
