Cannot open ACCPAC Session

We come across a couple weird situations while using ACCPACComAPI, can someone help to resolve? Thanks in advance.

Scenario 1:
In our production box, we use AccpacComApi to connection to ACCPAC to perform credit check, write AP transaction. Ususally we have no problem in the morning and around middle of the day, our program will not be able to establish connection any more. The workaround is to restart the application pool on IIS.

Scenario 2:
My desktop used to be able to connect to Accpac thru AccpacComAPI, all of a sudden it doesn't function any more.

Does any body have a clue to fix my problem, any help will be much appreciated.

Check how many Lanpaks are in use, you may be exceeding your user count. The other possibility is that if you are opening & closing sessions throughout the day you may not be expressly closing the sessions, and this leads to problems. Make sure you actually do Session.Close and Set Session = Nothing when you end a sessions.

Thanks for reply. I did check Lanpaks count while problem occured and it did not exceed the limit. I checked the code and it just do session.close and without session = nothing, may be this is where the problem comes from. Will update the forum late.

SM 5.2 should be on SP5.
