Cannot obtain error

When using Crystal Reports (CR) 10 to connect to a
parameterized stored procedure via ODBC, the
following error message appears when no records are
returned "Cannot obtain error
message from Server." The error occurs when an invalid parameter value is used to refresh data. Viewing or scheduling the same report in Crystal Enterprise (CE)10
generates errors on the Crystal Page and Job
Servers as well. any fixes

You ask about a database error but think it unimportant to post the database being used?

its sql server 7.0
