Sonicwall IS blocking ports, you have proved it by having it working locally but not when transiting the Sonicwall :)

Clue:
1616 handsets are H323 and work

Softphone is not H323 and doesn't work...

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Thanks for your information.

But I allowed tried both ways

Allowed all Ports on Sonicwall or Allowed respective Ports dedicated for Avaya.

Is there any way i can tset and give you a report.

-Thanks,
Sam.

It's still the router, they have hidden settings and application layer gateways (or whatever they choose to call them) built in that interfere with SIP traffic, the softphones use SIP...this is the link/router 100% :)

>this is the link/router 100%

Not that Andy needs it, but I agree entirely....

I have tried by placing all ports and tried by select ALL. But Still same Error.

Currently Im testing from Sonicwall VPN CLient, im sure it could be an issue...HQ Sonicwall.

Any Specific Configuration to allow SIP Ports on Sonicwall.

-Thanks,
Sam

That took a while, what did it turn out to be? May help the next guy :)

No, it was resolve very next day of my last reply.

It was sonicwall Issue. But Im upset with those, who has enough knowledge to support us to troubleshoot, instead of that, they just write to go and find AVAYA Engineer, if i have to do that, why would i come here, seek for the help. By the way, Im working on AVAYA / Asterisk System since 5 yrs, due to unusual errors, i seek for an help to help others.

So My Advice to those who has enough knowledge, kindly help others first if you can.

Thanks,
Sam
