Cannot login to most sites

Most sites that require you to login dont work. i get a page cannot be displayed error. I cant check my hotmail, but i can sign into eBay using SSL, and I was able to sign into yahoo. I've tried making IE accept all cookies and that didnt work. Any suggestions ?

If you are using IE 5.5 make sure you have all the service packs installed. I once had a similar problem to what you are describing and the latest version of IE 5.5 with all SP's helped make things much better.

check the version and cipher strength..
If version older than 5.5 or/and cipher strength lower than 128 bit, update it..
