Cannot login to bdc except as administrator

Win2k pdc and bdc, active directory running. For some reason, I cannot log on to the bdc except as administrator. If I sign into the domain from a workstation, I can access resources on the pdc, but not the bdc. Any ideas?

Replicate the same users/groups on the member server (there are no bdc's in win2k's world)as on the dc. Problem solved.

that gives me a new look at the problem. when i tried to force replication, i got a dns lookup error.

Any helpful hints for dns anyone can add?

Yeah, fix it .
Run a NETDIAG /fix first to try and automatically resolve simple stuff. If that doesn't work, run NETDIAG /L to get an output that may point you in the right direction. Running a DCDIAG also wouldn't hurt. These are Support tools , by the way...
