Cannot log into IPO (Certificate error detected) 5

Hello All,

I went to log into a Customers IPO (Running R9.1) and received the following error:

"Certificate error detected (IP Office certificate date(s) are invalid) Please try using 'None' certificate check option in Preference"

The only solution I was able to find was to navigate to: File > Preferences >security > Manager certificates Check > to None However this is not even available. Suggestions?

You have to enable Secure Communications. Then you will see the certificate check option.

The default certificate expired at the end of 2017.

You can recreate a new self-signed certificate in Security Settings:

The default certificate expired at the end of 2017.

& questions regarding the warning about it due to expire have been being asked here for approx 6 months!


Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

We have customers who noticed the expired certificates this year. Can’t believe that... but the certificate I renewed in less time than it would need to discuss that.
