Right, say my employee number is 100. I would use 100 to login to my registers and I would also use 100 to login to Aloha Manager and EDC as well with an associated password. Enter the number you are trying to use for Aloha Manager on your register and see if it will let you clock in or see if it gives you an error. The error message you are getting means that the employee # associated with logging into Aloha Manager and EDC cannot be found. This means that the user was accidentally deleted, the EMP.DBF file is corrupt, or Aloha Manager and EDC are looking in the wrong place for the EMP.DBF. By attempting to login to your register with the same number used with Aloha Manager, you can rule out several things. Say you have a bartender named billy with a user number of #230, you can enter 230 in Aloha Manager with no password and it will either ask you to create a password, tell you the password is invalid, or give you the same message that you saw earlier. If you want to bypass this error for now search for "Dealer or ALT-X Login
