When trying to start Apache2 on Win32, I get the following error. "C:\php" is in the system Path. What can the problem be.

error:

httpd.exe: Syntax eror on line 389 of c:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/php/php5apache.dll into server: The specified module could not be found.

Is php5apache.dll really in c:/php/?

According to the directory/file names in your path, you seem to use Apache2.2.x & PHP5.x.x. If so, PHP5 module php5apache2_2.dll is needed for Apache2.2.

is the forward slash an acceptable delimiter in httpd.conf? i know it is in php but was not aware that the same applied for apache.

if this is not the solution, then i recommend you post in the apache forum.

Thanks S13sio,

The php5apache2_2.dll worked for me...!
