Hi,
I've just installed my first version of Windows Server 2003. I've set it up as a Domain Controller and as a DNS.
My client workstation can see and access the server, but cannot join its domain.
From the clients machine I use the Network Identification Wizard, it finds the server and logs on, says that there is an account in the domain for the computer. I select "OK" to use this domain, but then it waits a while, then tells me :"
The network path could not be found".
When I run "nslookup" from the client I get:
Default server: server.atkins.local
Address: *Correct IP address*
I think it is an error in the DNS config, but I don't really know what to look for.
In the atkins.local forward lookups there is a NS, CNAME and A host all pointing to the server, as well as correct _kerberos and _Idap SRV's.
Any idea? Thanks !
