i installed NAV2002 on windows ME and it ran perfectly, but after upgrading to windows xp i've encountered a major problem. first i had to uninstall NAV2002 because it simply would not start up and now it wont even install on windows xp. the box i bought it in says it is compatible with windows xp so i dont think theres a problem there. the problem seems to be in the configuration window of nav2002 because it installs ok but when it shows the configuration screen where it shows expiry date, postinstall tasks, etc. the program simply hangs there. it configures to a point until i receive a script error, something about "script error occured at cygwizard.cfg" or something of that sort. i've tried uninstalling and installing 7+ times even installing in different directories but it still does not work. anyone have the same problem or ideas? thanks

I had similar problems on 2 windows 98 machines I for the only solution to be is to uninstall the antivirus and any other norton products then go and remove all to folders which where either symantec or norton , restart the machine and the reinstall norton antivirus first.
Another possibility could be that the machine has the Klez virus its worth downloading the KLEZ fix for the norton site and running it as this can disable antivirus software and stop it loading properly,

Hope this may help
