Maybe this is a simple problem, but there is a problem for me to install AE 7.0. Just bought a new HP computer, runs XP. When I start setup.exe, I see that Bridge 1.01 starts, and Installert starts.Then there's nothing. Can't see any failure. The cd stops running after a few seconds. I have no problems installing AE on other computers (laptops). Does anyone have tips for me?

After several workarounds, I tried to copy the content of the CD to my harddrive, and the installation went as normal. I got an explanation for this issue: sometimes the program tries install to the CD if it is installing from the CD. Does anyone know why?
