Hello,
I have two separate databases both are Access 2000. I need to copy the data in table one inside database one and get it to appear in table two inside database two.
I have tried to export table one to database two
I have tried to import table one from databse two
I have tried exporting table one to excel file
I have tried writing a query in database one for table one and exporting the query to database two
I have tried literally copying all records from table one to paste in to table two.
In all scenerios I get the same vague result.
I get a message box that says: Microsft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close...blah blah blah...

I have no idea how to get the data from one table to the next short of typing in 5000 records.

AAAGGGGHHHH!

Could be that one or the other of your files is corrupted. Back them up, then do a Tools/Database Utilities/Compact and Repair Database.

I try not to let my ignorance prevent me from offering a strong opinion.

Yeah, the compact & repair funtion results in the same crash
