cannot get onto domain

I click on the domain and type in my password. My username is in the box. Now I get the message cannot log onto system check username and domain and retype password. I am told the username and password are the same "golf shop" with a space. I thought the syntax with this is no space. Can anyone help me out.

Can you log on with the domain admin account?

Check the username in ADUC, reset the password, then log on with the ADUC account info and new password.

Space in a UN&PW is a new one on me?
