Cannot extract icon with index 0 from file (VISTA)

Is there a solution for this error when building an application with InstallShield 5.0? (VFP9.0)

The .exe has the icon.

Never had that problem. Does Installshiel Help not give more info on that error?

I can only guess, perhaps Installshield is more picky than foxpro with the (embeded) ico file. Does you ico have multiple resolution images in it? a Typicall ico used for desktop links or the different view options of folders must support several resolutions.

The problem is resolved. I don't know if this problem was just with Vista or not, but I did notice some other post on google.
They seemed to have the same problem.

I created an external .ico file (Thanks Olaf) and went into InstallShield and pointed to the .ico file instead of the .exe There were 3 errors. All of them the same. So, I located each referance. Two of which are located in Shortcuts/Folders... Desktop and Program Menu. The third was located General Information... Icon Display

No more errors
