Cannot download programs from BCM450 1

I cannot download programs from the BCM450 Rls 5.0. When I follow the proceedure to try and download Element manager in the Quick start guide it will only allow me to run the program, there is no download button. I have the latest java files on my P.C. When I type in the Web browser the

HTTP://10.10.11.1/apps/private/adminApps.htm,

like the BCM450 task list documentation states, all I get is "the page cant be displayed". I have an earlier version of Element manager on my P.C. but it does not function right when viewing Telephony resources.
Please help.

Release 5 uses Java as the initial web page. You can select Element Manager then the button below to install. It will update your Element Manager if needed. Unfortunately Nortel does not have a self installer program as in the past. However, they will be putting one out. It was a pet-peeve of mine and I bitched loud enough for them to add it back.

I see no button below that would download. Do I have to remove the existing element manager in order to get the download button? If I choose a program I dont have like client putty, I get the download button?

Make sure your Java is JRE 6 Rls 17

I am using JRE 6 Release 18. I guess since 18 is the latest it should work. Not sure how to get release 17.

That should work as well. Remember, you cannot download the program, only update it.
