Cannot download files from home network,1 specifc folder?

Hi all,I have a home network main computer is Sp2,other 2 are Sp3.I have like 8 folders shared on the Sp2 computer.The Sp3 computers see all folders ok on the network.All have everyone read permissions.And they all work ok transferring and copying files ok,except 1 Folder,the 3dsavers folder? I can see it ok from sp3 computers,but I cannot copy any files from that folder? any Idea why? I have checked permissions etc.Have everyone permissions to read? don't see any reason why I can't copy anything from this folder? only this one,all others are perfect? Can anyone help me here? am I doing something wrong? Why just this one folder? oh and when looking at the files in this folder from the Sp3 computers over the network,the little pictures on the file names don't show up either,just square boxes,but they do on the Sp2 Main computer? You could stop sharing that folder and then try recreating the "Share" to see if that fixes the matter.

As well as the actual shared permissions have you checked the Security Tab and the NTFS file access permissions too?

Hello linney,I tried to stop sharing and recreating the share and still no good.I had to go into this shared folder,where there are many other folders,click on 1 folder,and go in a few more folders deep till I get to the actual file,I clicked property's and then security tab and the file was only listed as administrator.went to advanced inherited parent,now shows everyone permissions on the file itself? Whats up with that? How many folders deep can you go from the first shared folder,does it matter? weird? but it works now,after I did all the files in that folder.It was just that 1 folder,and a few folders deep to get to each file.talk about mouse cramps,man,maybe there shouldn't be many folders within folders to get to the actual file.Well it's fixed,don't know why it was like that,12 other shared folders are all ok.Thanks for any input on this.
