Cannot delete report in Cognos Upfront 2

I am having instances where users are having trouble saving Upfront reporting into their NewsBoxes and/or they cannot delete reports from their Newsboxes.

The following error occurs....

1001 The object of type (NewsItem [Report Name]) cannot be deleted.An internal error occurred. Unable to complete this operation.The Cognos product that created NewsItem ([Report Name]) could not successfully perform this operation. Please contact.....

cognos/cgi-bin/ppdscgi.exe?nia=Delete......

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to the properties of that newsitem, is the gateway setting correct?

You nailed it right on the head!!!! Thanks so much! We were appending the fully qualified domain name which was somehow hosing things up.
