I cannot delete a phone on the Mitel 3300. Removed it from Opsman. There was an error message but it no longer appears in Opsman. I cannot delete it from the 3300. Says there is one line in use. I have tried to clear all features. Busy out the exten and return to service. Any ideas. I checked and all of the buttons have nothing assigned to them.

Go to User Configuration form a try delete it from there...

It should tell you why it doesn't let you.

Tell us why!!

Regards,

Daniel Ramirez

More than likely there is a message waiting key. The MWI must be idle before the set can be deleted.

If for any reason you cannot turn off the lamp, check the FAQ page for a "How to"

Try programming a feature access code for "message waiting deactivate" in the feature access code form, *91 I think is the recomended code.

Dial *91 Plus the extension number, that should turn any message waiting lamp off. Now try deleting the extension.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I did give those a try. All of the keys were unassigned. We did a reboot on the system for other reasons. I went into User configuration and tried removing it again and got a different error. This time it said to go and remove the multiline key. I went to that form and the only button assigned was button two, which was a multicall of the primary #. After I removed that multicall it then let me remove the number. The system reboot must have cleared out some MWI or feature. Thanks everyone
