Cannot create priviledged Administrator account on new CM 5.2 install 2

I am hoping someone out there may have come across and overcome an issue I have found with installing CM 5.2 (02.0.947.3) on a new S8300C. I have got to the point in the instalation where I am creating a Priviledged Administrator account but even if I use the proper password format I still receive the following message

"ERROR: The password failed the PAM cracklib complexity test. Please try again".

I wondered if there was a bug so I tried to install the latest patch I was given (17294) but after unpacking the patch I try to activate it and I am told that I need to unpack the patch even though the system has said that it was successfully unpacked!

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get moving on my install again?

I got this too, but it was because I was using a password that was not complex enough so I used a password that was 10 digits in length with caps, lower case, and a few numbers sprinkled in... (I'm already guessing though that you may have tried this? ) - this was my first 5.2 install, but this got me passed that issue.

bootsector0 is correct, all it is telling you, is your passwor dis not compex enough, and it will not accept it. Try using alpha, numeric and special symbols (like #, $, etc), and you will be fine.

Thanks so much guys it was just what i needed, I had found documentation to say that I needed to include upper/lower case, digits and symbols but nothing about length so I was trying 8 and 9 digit passwords!
