Cannot copy from my Windows C drive to F network drive (samba)

First sorry about my english.
I have one SCO 5.0.5 box with samba 2.2.5 running.

It works ok, but when I need to transfer files from the windows 98 local drive C: to the samba network drive mapped as F:, the system, after have copied a few files , very slow, it stops, and do the next error :

error copying the file c:xxx to f:xxx
The resource or device they are not disponible
....

Now, I have tried to copy the files with the ftp, and I have the same problem. When I copied 8 or 9 files, the connection is broken.
..
Connection closed by the host
...

Any idea ?.
