Hi,

I am trying to install a workstation set up (6.0A) on a windows 7 operating system. I have successfully installed Accpac on the workstation. However, when I run it, I get an error saying: "Cannot connect to Sign on Manager". I have searched the web for solutions. I found that running RegAcc solves the problem. However, the problem that I am facing is that RegAcc is not running at all on that workstation. There is no error messages and no sign of it running. Furthermore, i installed the workstation set up and ran RegAcc with administrator rights and the workstation was added to our company domain.

Finally, this problem occurred after re-installing Windows 7 on the same work-station.
Would anyone have an idea about this situation.

Thank you!

Disable UAC.
Right-click REGACC.EXE and select Run As Administrator.

Hi, i have disabled the UAC. However, it didnt help. Regacc completely failed saying : "RegAcc has stopped working". I tried running it on the server the same problem occured. I have however, managed to copy regAcc from my stand alone installation, i am running it now nd Accpac is opening on the workstation.

However, would anyone know how to fix the "RegAcc has stopped working " problem?
