Hi All!

Looking for a little assistance connecting a Bogen Loudspeaker system to the
Merlin. We have a Merlin Magix R3.0 V7.0. We have a 408 GS/LS MLX board with
3 Active POTS lines (801-803).

I wanted to setup the 4th port (804) as the paging port.
I have removed 804 from all Pools and all Line Appearances.

When I go to Setup -> AuxEquipment -> Loudspeaker Port
It will not allow me to add 804 as the assigned port.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Does anything
have to be connected to the GS Port for it to be setup at a Loudspeaker Page Port?

Thank You!

Make sure it isn't already assigned as the MOH port. Do a print of System Set Up.

Thank you for your post TTTommy!

There are no lines assigned to MOH, and no lines are setup for remote access..

Thank you Merlinman!

I do have 804 assigned to the All Page Calling Group 799.
I wanted to have the loudspeaker be part of the All Page system.
Would this prevent me from assigning it as a Loudspeaker Page Port?

I had that one occur to me a couple times. An obvious port that SHOULD be able to be assigned and couldn't. I tried assignment on a different card and it was able to be assigned as Page port ...
Turned out I had to Flash the Firmware of the 408 since it was in a magix.
Try assigning it on a different card/port if possible and see if you get it going that way ...
