Cannot close down qmail-send

Hi,

I cannot close down qmail-send:
/service/qmail-send: up (pid 3321) 12223 seconds, want down

Wouldn't that normally indicate that qmail is busy sending? The queue is empty, however.
Any idea what's causing this?

It sounds to me like your supervise script is not correct. I'd check the script. You can always manually kill the PID.

what commando did you use?

svc -t /var/qmail/service/qmail-send

this will stop/restart the qmail-send. Does this work?
svstat /var/qmail/service/qmail-send
will give the uptime
