My computer for no reason today will not let me change 16 colors and 640x480 resolution. When I go into control panel and try to change then win98 prompts me to restart my comp before settings take effect. I restart my comp but nope new settings are not there. Someone please help.

Cannot change resolution and color settings

More than likely a Vid Driver Problem (they prob got corrupted). Go to your Vid cards manufacturer's web site and download and reinstall the latest drivers for your card. We are always looking for new members at our computer forums: Please come join our community too.
