cannot call did when main line call forwarded

I have a health provider client. At night they use call fwd through the carrier to forward the phone. TW is the carrier so 72 is used. I have a few people who attempt to call their number when main line is forwarded. When they call their DID they get the call forward to the answering service. The target line they call does not appear on the primary or backup main answer positions. The main line is not assigned to the stations in question. They have an MICS 6.1 with a T1. I believe all of the listed numbers ring on the secondary answer set.

Is the call being forwarded because the lines ring on the secondary answer position?

I would check with TW first because I think the code 72 forwards the whole T1 and not just a number.
 
Don't forward via 72.

Use Line redirect for the target line assoc with the main number. You may have to get TW to turn on trunk to trunk transfer.

Just looking through the treads and I came onto this one. Just wondering if you got it adjusted . If not . I would suggest , under service, control sets for line and sets, make sure the control sets and for the target lines and sets is not the set doing the forwarding.

customer did not want to change call fwd procedure to 84, wanted all line to ring if called...

They did not think one person wanting to call and leave themselves a message was worth the trouble..
