Hi Friends,

I'm in serious trouble. I was using "HijackThis" tool from to clean up few things on my computer.

By mistake I deleted a dll related to internet (without a backup). A dialog box prompted me for the restar. When I restarted I got a prompt saying the one service was not started properly. When I see under Event Viewer. I have the following error:

Description:
The IPSec driver has entered Block mode. IPSec will discard all inbound and outbound TCP/IP network traffic that is not permitted by boot-time IPSec Policy exemptions. User Action: To restore full unsecured TCP/IP connectivity, disable the IPSec services, and then restart the computer. For detailed troubleshooting information, review the events in the Security event log.

I cannot surf the internet because of this, and I have no idea how to solve this, please help!

Thanks

Is it that you're not sure where to find the IPSEC policy?
Click Start, settings, control panel... Double click Administrative tools, double click services. Double click on "ipsec policy agent". Click on stop if it's started, and set the startup type to disabled. click apply and ok.

restart the computer.

Your DLLCACHE folder should have a backup of the file you deleted.

Thanks guys for your help. I re-installed the OS.

Thanks
