Here is the thing. It is really weird.

Symptom:
- Cannot access a game site
- Can access other secure and non-secure websites
- Tried using IE, Firefox, Opera
- Tried optimizing IE
- Tried removing McAfee Firewall
Issue:
- Possible server outage
- Possible that website is not a registered domain
- (The weird part), everytime I type the URL in the address bar, it returns a page which does not contain an error code, it contains an offer to register the domain name, " as if it has never been registered before.
- Resolution look to Tek-tips.com

It works fine from the west coast of Canada running on a W2K3 SP1 terminal server using IE 6.0 SP1 with enhanced Internet security enabled. Both IE and W2K3 are fully service packed. I didn't even need to add it to my trusted sites.

Have you tried it by IP address - 203.131.91.195?

How about doing a tracert and/or ping on it?

My results are:

It looks like it really slows down once it hits the Phillipine server. The time out on the 3rd hop of the tracert is because one of Shaw Cablesystem's servers is down but that would be isolated to anything routing through the west coast of Canada.

I have contacted my ISP, PLDT they have asked me to perform the following:

1. Change the DNS settings
2. Change it back to Obtain DNS automatically
3. Try a different URL: 4. Created a new connection [with the same settings as the old one]
5. Contacted 6. Gave me a different Temporary User Name and Password
- This solution worked. But it was only temporary.
- I haven't been able to verify this independently, but I might venture into the idea that my specific User Name and Password may have been banned. Could this be possible? After all, I only got my DSL connection for less than a month.
