Hi!
I have recently upgraded from Win98 to Win2000 OS. Prior to the upgrade, I had successfully added new system data sources through the ODBC Data Source Administrator (for connecting to remote tables within my local MS Access program). Now, after the upgrade, as I attempt to add a new system data source, the following happens:
1. Under the System DSN tab (in the ODBC Data Source Administrator window), I click on the "Add.." button.
2. The Create New Data Source window appears, in which I select the "Oracle ODBC" driver and click the "Finish" button.
3. Instead of taking me to the driver-specific setup dialog box, it returns me to the the ODBC Data Source Administrator window...nothing happens!
The driver-specific setup dialog box doesn't seem to appear at all, in either the User DSN or System DSN tabs, whether or I choose to "Add" another source or "Configure" an existing source.
How can I fix this? Is this the result of the system upgrade?
Thanks.
