cannot add linux host to CX3-80 CLARiiON

I can see the WWN of the 2 fiber cards on the CLARiiON but when I try to add the actual host I get an error when I put in the IP address. I'm not sure where to start.

Hello are you using navisphere to add the server? can you ping the clariion from the linux host and vice versa and what error are you geting is this a new install or existing setup.
