From my PC neither IE, Netscape nor Firefox can access a website that it was accessing before.

IE says "page not found"
Firefox & Netscape say "the connection was refused"

When I go to another PC on the same network I have no problem.

I have tried ipconfig /flushdns and cleaning out history, cache and cookies.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you have a firewall setup you could check the proxy settings in IE. See if they are the same on both computers. Thats what I would check next. Also you could double check the computer its working on that it's not using any cached info from the website. Hope it all works out.

It was the firewall.
Thanks.

I have this exact same problem, what did you do to fix it, I have several computers that cannot access a certian page and others that can, we have a firewall also. I would appreciate your advise.

At the time I was using Symantec Firewall (software).
I had to reset it, but forgot what I did.

We have since switched to a hardware appliance firewall.
With the latter, you can explicity permit access to specific web sites.
