I have a cust. with a BCM 3.7 and I am unable to access Telephony Services nor Media Bay Module access under Resources I've tried all the obvious technics power cycling the BCM doing reboots with no chg?

Check JAVA version on your admin PC. It needs to be ver 1.5 or lower.

I have flashing and I can log on I can do everything but check those 2 areas It doesnt make sence cause I have talked to this same system from the same laptop and I'm really going to be in a jam cause I need to add a MBM GATM8 soon and I can't get into any MBM programming to assign my bus.

Flashing LEDs = BAD. Checks caps on the BFT. Green = BAD Blue = nostly good.

I've just checked my Java version and it's 1.6 what is the easiest way to get 1.5 or lower...

Delete Jave from your machine and then download it from the BCM.

You did say all 10 LED'a are all flashing?

there's a patch for BCM3.7 available that will allow to use the latest java version. patch is called: BCM_370.237_UM3.39.003

Hey guys I deleted my 1.6 and downloaded version 1.5 and tested and it worked like a champ! that is so weird cause I used this laptop to talk to BCM's all the time...

you know I must of stated that while it was going thru a reboot cause right now the 1000 has 1234 solid green and power and status solid green and the only flashing is the disk and 567 are out. Let me ask you something there is a RST next to the 7 what happens if you press into that?

From my friend at nortel, the problem comes from a microsoft security hotfix that most of us have gotten from automatic updates that conflicts with nortel.

I'm having the problem on a 4.0 machine that was installed in june.

A ship in the harbour is safe, but that's not what ships are for.
