On a workgroup of 20 computers, all running Windows XP Pro, I have to set some special access rights for 3 users.
I have done the following:
- disable (uncheck) "Use simple file sharing" in Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View.
- create 3 identical accounts on the 3 boxes for the 3 users (matching username/password)
- create different shares on the 3 boxes and set access rights for the 3 users
Result:
Two users can access shares conform their access rights but the third user cannot access any of the share, despite that access rights are the same. Beside of these, he cannot access even the shares made on his computer via "My Network Places".
Can anyone help, please?
