I cannot access MC32S card in both way, either tty 0 on faceplate and tty1 on L adapter. Its new card with out any configuration.Nothing is printing on my serial data interface.Card is booting up and showing UNREG status on faceplate.

Does the card have a compact flash on it near to the bottom?. Have you checked that the card has the correct software?

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

First of all I can tell you that if you use the connector on the L connector you have to have a special Nortel cable, I think it's a null cable. If you use the cable off the front I have found that the cable doesn't plug in all the way to the connector. You have to trim some of the rubber off to get it to plug in all the way. The card should have come with the Gold Image on it already from the factory.

I have 3 mc32s card and 2 of them working perfectly and i could access the card same way and same cable. But third card was not responding.

ADDED CONTROLLED SHIP TO TITLE
Background:
NORTEL is investigating reports from the field on the NTDW65/MC32S card that fails to boot into service when first
installed into the system. The output from the face plate LED Display of the NTDW65/MC32S Card reports:
> Self Test
> Load
> UNREG (LED display would stay at UNREG)
The Output from the Face plate connector will show
> Self test Passed
> Auto Booting
At this point the card would no progress through the remainder of the boot cycle and appears to froze
Additionally the output from the Media Card L-adapter from the NTDW65/MC32S reports:
This is the MC32S Gold Image. The vxWorks Image on /p/mainos.sys failed to load
The system has not been installed or there is a problem with the compact flash
Please use setLeader command to enter networking parameters.
Then Install system software using Element Manager or TM

Analysis:
During a new installation of this card it has been found that a number of the cards were incorrectly set to be a leader in
the factory. This causes the card to not issue a boot P sequence command.
