Cancel backup

We have a backup that gets to 100% but still keeps writing. Sometimes we have to cancel it. Should there be data on the tape if the backup is manually cancelled? In our situation, the tape appears to be empty.

You need to find out why its wont stop writing.
Perhaps you should set up Verbose 5 logging on the client and create a bpbkar and bpcd logs and on media server set-up bptm and bpbrm logs and analyze these?
