Can you tell me why this query returns nothing...

Select * From "myTable"
Where Date >= #26/5/01# and Date <= #1/6/01#
Order By Date

The table 'myTable' contains the following row...

Date
26/5/01

NB. UK Date Format dd/mm/yy
1. I have the following at the top of my page:
<% Session.LCID = 2057 ' English Locale %>
2. I have the date set to British on my PC

Dear Martin

I'm not absolutely sure about this, but I believe you always have to use US dates in your SQL, even if you're set to British.

I seem to remember falling foul of this myself sometime ago and discovering that this was the case. Worth a try, at least.

(Why, oh why couldn't they have kept it the same as ours....?)

Paul

Thanks Paul, I think you're right.

(Yanks have to be different).

Right you are. I have some reports that are issued to different countries. I have found that all my SQL must be in US format and I have to format the reports for differing countries.

Good luck.
