can you set OutputTo to append instead of replace and existing file?

When using the OutputTo (an.xls file)feature within a macro, is there a way to append an existing file instead of replace it?

Did you ever resolve this issue? I have a related one in that since going to Access 2002 Access started prompting for 'Replace the existing file'... We're printing reports directly to a variety of network printers so the file it's wanting to replace is '\\server-name\nn.nn.nn.nn

Any idea how to get this to stop and just assume Replace?
