Can you return values from CR8 to VB?

Hi-

I need to capture some data from a Crystal report and return it to the calling VB program. Is this possible at all?

Just in case - I'm using CR 8 RDC with a DSR and VB6.

Hi David-

Thanks for the reply - I'm using CR 8, and don't expect to upgrade to 8.5 soon. I guess I'll have to find a work around.

I was trying to capture the ending page number of one report, in order to pass it to another report as a formula. I can count the number of records to be sent to Report #1 and figure out the page count from there - but it would have been nice if CR could have passed the info back to me.
