Hi All

We're using Exchange 2003 and my question is can you rename the /exchange virtual directory?
Currently when our users connect to the mail server via OWA they enter the public IP address of the server followed by /exchange. Can the /exchange be renamed to something else, and if so, where would I need to go to rename it?

Thanks everyone.

Thanks for your reply N0ktar, unfortunately we don't administer a webserver as our website is hosted elsewhere. I'm reluctant to send a request for chargable work to the website hosts if it is possibe to just rename the /exchange virtual directory. Do you know if it is possible to do this?

Sorry, the link I gave is for E2007. I think all you have to do is to create a new virtual directory with the desired name in Exchange System Manager, under the server object / Protocols / HTTP node.

Thanks very much for your help. I'll give this a go.
