Hello,
Currently we are running 6.2.We are looking into buying
new hardware to upgrade to 7.0. Do we have to migrate, or
can we do a fresh install on the new hardware platform?
Also, if we request a new license for 7.0 will this cause
any problems with our current appliation?
Thanks in advance.
Patty

I've installed 7.0 fresh before and it's worked fine. I've also used 7.0 to upgrade 6.2 and that has worked fine, too. I think either way you'll be ok. Not sure what you mean about "migrate" though. If that's referring to the databases then I'm not sure.

Also, I don't know what your license situation is so I really can't say what the impact on that may be.

Thanks Brian, I just wasn't sure if I had to upgrade to 7 first. Thanks for the info.
