Can you launch Report Wizard on an existing report?

I believe in an earlier version I could create a report using Report Wizard, take it all the way through to [Finish]. Then if I had forgotten to add a field or grouping I could launch it again on the existing report. I would get a warning that my formats, etc. would change, but I would be right back in the Wizard.

I can't seem to find that ability to launch Report Wizard in version 10. Is that feature available? If so, how do I launch it for editing?

No need to do so. Choose View > Field Explorer, or find the icon on your toolbar. You can add fields there, or access them in formula fields. Or create your own totals, all that the Report Wizard does for you.

You can also add new 'tables' using Database > Database Expert

Yes, I know about Field Explorer and Database Expert. But I want to be able to return to Report Wizard to take advantage of when I select another field, etc. the previously selected fields would shift over so that I don't have to move them.

So, to repeat my inquiry, is there such a thing as relaunching Report Wizard on an existing report?

I do not believe that is possible. You can Create but not Update a report with the Report Wizard

In the older version, rerunning the wizard would rebuild the report and remove many changes you had made since running the original wizard.

I suspect for that reason it can no longer be rerun.

On my courses I explain that the wizard is a "starting place" and not a "going back to place"

I would be cautious about using the report expert in CR 10. There is a bug that can cause the application to fail to open after using the report expert, and it requires a change to the registry to fix. This happened to me when I was testing the report expert for teaching purposes--I never use it myself.

I use the report expert or wizard to do the first draft of just about every report I create. I like the way I can select a handful of fields and they are automatically lined up, spaced evenly and fit onto the page.

On Friday I taught a class using v8.5 and showed the students how to use the old Report Expert (wizard) to get the first draft. Then I showed them how they could loop back through the wizard a second time to add a field in the middle of the row. Crystal would move fields and adjust the spacing automatically. This features was lost in v9 and later, and I miss it.
