My partner and I just started up a new web-design business in Alaska and I wanted to know what other flash users/developers thought. Any tips? Advice? Comments or questions? Thank you VERY much to the people who decide to check it out! :)

LESS IS MORE

you can do the work, great.. now get rid of all the fluff and settle on a few effects and clean up the intro and main page. [sig][/sig]

Your flash work is good but in web design you need to market to both types of customers.

More web design customers that we have seen have wanted just plain html and maybe a little bit of flash or java work, then there are the customers that want their website to be big and flashy.

I would suggest an entrance page so that the customer can decide whether to look at your flash page or just the HTML version, that way they can see what you can do with what they want done.

I think You should give the visitor the option to choose (plain html or flash) because in most cases their browsers don't have the plugs, aren't willing to install them, and for some devices (other than PC's) accesing your site, its impossible to install them.

I have the same problem cause I love the way flash handle and present the data. [sig][/sig]
