Can you disable paging to one particular extension? 1

I have a question. Our new receptionist is driving me friggin nuts with the paging function that she seems to have discovered. This being said, I'm not anyone that can tell her to stop using it, but I don't want to hear her annoying voice randomly popping up through my phone (M7208) while I'm concentrating on getting work done, or playing solitaire...whichever it may be.

Is there anyway that I can set my phone to NOT be paged along with the rest? I fear for my sanity and the constant annoyance makes me want to throw her out the window.

You can change your page zone to a different one than everyone else.

Also note that I am anything but a pbx/phone guru...so which buttons to push to accomplish this would be helpful

And if anyone knows some kind of secret norstar feature to zap someone at a particular extension, BY ALL MEANS please tell me.

Look to see what page zone everyone is in. It's in programming under capabilites/set abilites/page zone.

You can put your phone on Do not Disturb(Feature 85) but you won't get any calls. It will stop the page from coming out of your phone.
Just an option.
