My customer is installing a third party call logger to record conversations to the customer service department and wants to alert callers to the fact that their calls may be monitored. They are not using contact center software. Is there a way to disable DTMF so that the caller is forced to hear "Your calls may be monitored" in the company greeting or in some other way before this greeting is chained to the main CCR tree greeting? I've played with this and I am able to dial by extension or name, etc. from the moment I am connected to the main company greeting.

have u un-ticked disable DN Dialing in the Greeting Table? I'm not positive this will help, just throwing it out there.

Try check Disable DN Dialing box on Greeting Table...

Thanks guys but I have tried "Disable DN Dialing" and it simply routes the caller straight to a subscriber's mailbox instead of ringing their set. Unfortunately, the caller is still able to interrupt the greeting and direct himself to another extension or mailbox.

Most call loggers have options one is to play a beep every so often that alerts the caller, put the warning in the main greeting also, and alert callers that the menu has been changed. If you disable the dtmf it would be for the entire call and go to a fail safe message, or front the voice mail with a call sequencer that would play the message then hand off the call after the message has been heard.
