I have a client with a callpilot 4.1 and wants to stop people from being able to dial someones extension while in ccr. I have ccr 3 with menus, 2,4 and 5. when I call in the ccr answers if I press 2 no problem, also 4 or 5. my extensions start with 4, but if I dial 4XXX the call routes to the extension. I tried disabling DN dialing in te greeting tables but that transfers the caller to the extensions voice mail.is tehre a way to make the call pilot see only the 4 from the extension being dialed and route the call to path 4.

Rico,
Have you thought of this idea....
Since your extensions start with 4xxx,
You could use options 1,2,3,5,6,7,and 8, in the CCR tree, skipping option 4.
Then there is no 4 option in the menu, and no reason for a person to dial 4 anything unless they are looking to direct transfer
Hope this helps

I think you need to be more specific.

Do you not want people to enter the ext from anywhere in greetings? or just from a specific path?.

You say:
I call in the ccr answers if I press 2 no problem, also 4 or 5

But then you say:
my extensions start with 4, but if I dial 4XXX the call routes to the extension

Confused as looks like you are saying it is both a problem and not a problem.

You would have this issue from any path 4 or not as long as it is a Menu patch.

You might need Info paths? but realy depend on what it is you are try to accomplish.

I think he's trying to force callers to dial a menu option, rather than letting them ring a set, or go to the respective vm by dialing the ext.

right I called an engineer looks like thats not something this machine can do.
Thanks all for the help....we were trying to deny people from getting to the sets bypassing the ccr tree.

Cray thoughts I have again....
When listening to an Info mox can you interupt it by pressing * ?
If so, what if you were to make all the Paths Info's then prompt people to press *11 or *12 to go deeper instead of 1 then 1 again (or 1 then 2).
