Can you delete log files??

You can delete those if you think that you won't need them for security tracking. Normally they are used for troubleshooting web issues and tracking the origin of a hacker's breakin.

Rather than delete, might I suggest you just move them and back them up - just in case you want to use them for statistics and/or tracking down illegal/damaging activity later?
