Can we program Key 0 as hot key for 1110 phone?

We are using broadcastiing to broad cast annoucements and others.

can we program 1110 key 0 as hot key?

since it is a single line phone.Do anybody use it that way?

I think they are generally used in lobby and conference rooms.

Please advise .

Of course you can, but then you will no longer used it as internal extension, and I am not sure but I believe that 1110 ip phone has a shift key, so you can have key 0 and key 1, the same key in the default position it is key 0, and if you press shift you will get key 1, just make sure of that.
