I know that you CAN'T compile and create distribution disks for VB 5 DAO applications anymore once you install VB 6 on the same computer. Microsoft said so. I guess you'd call it ".dll hell".

What I was hoping is that one of you VB gurus could tell me if you've had any experience (problems) with installing Visual FoxPro 6 and VB 5 on the same
development workstation- especially compiling and distributing applications.

Thanks

not sure if it is any help...

But I have Visual studio, with VFP6.0 and VB6 installed. So I don't think VB5 would cause any problems, putting VFP6.0 on second would be your best bet.

How about a dual boot, with a shared partition for your work, just install windows on 2 partitions and install a little dual boot program.

Hope this helps, sorry - I am a bit of a novice.
